Recent Purchases ~ Coat + K-pop Update

Hello! I'm back ^_^
I received some CDs I ordered from YesAsia and I picked up this wool coat from TopShop!

I was just roaming around downtown after I had class on Friday, and I found this gorgeous steal of a coat. It was originally $160, but on clearance for $48!! :O WHAT A STEAL~ Plus with a student ID, I got another 10% off which is freaking awesome. I ended up getting this coat for $43.20.... although with tax in BC, the total basically came up to the price without the 10% discount but whatever. A discount is a discount :)

Yep, that's really the only piece of clothing I've purchased in this little while. Good for me, lol. I think avoiding malls is a good choice for me :P

Besides the coat, I also received an order of CDs from YesAsia.
This time I picked up these three CDs :) B1A4's Who Am I, B.A.P's Badman (I know I'm pretty late with this >_<) and VIXX's Super Hero. Slowly, I'm building my VIXX collection... slowly ><

B1A4's Who Am I has some ah-mazing  packaging. Like seriously. I know it looks like a magazine, but I really didn't expect much. But when I got it and flipped through he actual physical book, the whole thing is designed to look like magazine pages!

I actually stumbled upon another website that has even better prices than YesAsia - and shipping is free on orders $25 and over! I think I'm gonna start ordering from there. It's called MWave Shop. I'm guessing it's affiliated or a part of MNet? Yeah, anyway, the prices are really good so I'll definitely be on the lookout for some stuff on that site.
If you're interested in the B1A4 album, I recommend that you check out MWave Shop first, since I saw it on there for $19.99 as opposed to YesAsia's $22.99 T___T"
The only thing is that I think this site only has a one-time stock, so if they're sold out of their original stock, they won't restock and they won't have anymore :s at least that's what it looks like. I dunno, I'll have to familiarize myself with the website some more.

Other than these recent purchases, I also wanna talk about some new songs I've been enjoying ^_^
I said in my last post that I was feeling sorta bored with my music, so I went searching for some more new music to add to my playlist. Here's some of the songs I've really been enjoying :)

1. BTOB - 뛰뛰빵빵 (Beep Beep)

Yay! If you didn't know, I'm also a pretty big fan of BTOB :) Although I wasn't too thrilled with their last comeback (Kpop fans, see what I did there? :P lol), I'm really enjoying their most recent comeback with Beep Beep! I'm glad Cube has realized that BTOB's style should head towards the fun, bright and playful direction, instead of trying to have them become a second Beast, or completely under-do other bands in concepts that are trending (cough.. by this, I mean trying to sorta creepy concept, even though VIXX has completely owned that :/) I'm really enjoying the rest of this album too, and I already ordered a physical copy so I'll share when it arrives :)

2. BTS (방탄소년단) - Boy In Luv (상남자)

I didn't really like this song the first time I watched the mv. Probably because I simultaneously read the childish and goofy lyrics.. and there is some completely unnecessary violence against the girl in this mv. :/ However, I decided to watch some of their live performances and found myself liking the song a lot. It's really freaking catchy @_@" A while ago, I said I would be keeping an eye on this group, even though I didn't really like their previous releases. I do really enjoy this one, though. :) Congrats BTS for making it onto my playlist! xD

3. 노지훈  - 너를 노래해 (A Song For You)

This a really simple song, but it's really enjoyable. Plus I heard he personally worked on the lyrics/composition(?) for this song, so good for him! Nice song... oh, and he's really attractive :P

4.Thunder/천둥 from MBLAQ - 없어

Another really simple and nice song. Self-composed by Thunder! Good for him ^__^ Really catchy and I found myself singing along to it easily.

5. 소유 of SISTAR & 정기고 - 썸 (Feat. Lil Boi of Geeks)

This is such a pretty song, and it puts you in a good mood ^_^ I've always like Soyou's voice, and it sounds really good with Junggigo's. The mv is cute too~ Baro is adorable :P

6.  Dal Shabet - B.B.B. (Big Baby Baby)

Yeah... I don't really talk about girl groups a lot xD Mostly because I usually like male singers better :x But this song is so catchy! I especially love the background music. It's funky and I dunno.. I just like it! xD

7. Nine Muses - Glue

DANG this song is catchy! Really upbeat and fun :P Great addition to my playlist.

Recent Purchases ~ All Online + K-pop

I received some items recently that I ordered a while ago so I'm just gonna share them here :)

First... being the crazy Infinite fangirl I am....

I got these off Kpopmart. They shipped it out on the day that they were releases (Nov 1) and I received them about 2 weeks after. I expected it to take longer... but since shipping isn't free on Kpopmart and I paid for shipping... 2 weeks seems pretty average.
Kpopmart has great prices, but the shipping costs basically bump the price up to YesAsia prices... so I'll compare the total costs before ordering. Actually YesAsia had a better deal for this combo, but when I remembered to go and order it, they already ran out of stock. They have since restocked, but they don't have that special deal for it anymore.. so I'm glad I just got it from Kpopmart.

Next are some orders from YesAsia.
I ordered Block B's "Very Good" and G-Dragon's Coup D'etat (in both the red version and the black version). These came with a "special YesAsia photocard" each... but I forgot to take them out when I took the pictures... so too bad, lol.

Since this was the first time I ordered a smaller amount of items from YesAsia, they took over a month to arrive. It's much faster if it's a bigger package/order.. around 2 weeks. But that's free shipping for you. Oh well.

Recent Online Purchases ~ Second BornPrettyStore Experience

Hello again!! Yes! My laptop has finally been repaired! ...Should I write more about it? Ah whatever, it's my blog. Why the hell not? Lol. So around a week and a half ago, I turned on my laptop before leaving for school to use it for a bit, then I turned it off and left it. Usually I unplug the power cord, but when I came home, I realized I left it plugged in, so I unplugged it. A few hours later I tried to turn it on to use, but the screen wouldn't show any image. I thought my external monitor (this is how I use my laptop) was on the fritz again, but I tried playing around with it, unplugging+plugging it back in, but nothing worked. I asked my lil bro for assistance cuz usually he's the techy one who can solve my computer problems, but he couldn't figure it out either. So we both did some googling and we both realized that there was probably something wrong internally with my laptop. Anyway I brought it in to get fixed, a week and a half later, I received a call from the shop saying my laptop is ready to be picked up. I asked the owner what was wrong with it, and he said something went wrong with the motherboard, and that he replaced the chips inside the motherboard instead of replacing the whole thing (I think he said this would probably ruin the laptop, and I'd have to buy another one...). Anyhow I was in a rush so I forgot to ask him how it happened, and how I can prevent it from happening again.. but my little bro and I both think it has to do with it overheating :s Maybe cuz I haven't cleaned the inside of the laptop ever since I got it >.<

ALRIGHTY~ Anyway, here are the items I ordered from the BornPrettyStore for my second order.

I am so disappointed with this :/ The print is really badly done. You can see in the close up that the print is really streaky and low-quality. I just decided to purchase it cuz I thought it was cute, plus it's only $3... but yeah.... I am not impressed. I'm not even sure if I'll end up using this :/ I find it to be so aesthetically underwhelming... after all, I only purchased it for aesthetic reasons... do not recommend...

Secondly is this wrap watch:

Black wrap watch - $8.32

I've wanted a wrap watch for a while now... but I didn't want to invest a lot into one, so I thought I'd just try my luck with this one I found on the website. As expected, the quality isn't great - the sides of the faux leather wrap fray really easily, and of course the tension with the closing belt part doesn't help with that. It's alright though, it's not like I expected it to be great quality :x Anyway I like this style, I think it's really easy to wear, but I'm still not sure if I'd invest into a more expensive and durable one.

Next I got this silver spike bracelet:

You may recall that I purchased this same bracelet in gold. I wasn't really that satisfied with that one because the gold colour on it just seems so fake and too yellowy. This silver one is a lot better, and I think I'll wear it more than that gold one... *sigh* wasted a few bucks on that gold one :(

Next I just got this little pump dispenser bottle:

This is so useful for nail polish remover! Finally I won't have to spill it all over the place when I'm pouring it out onto a cotton pad =_=! I wish it was a bit cheaper... but oh well, lol.

Before I go... I just want to do an update on the first phone case I purchased from the BornPrettyStore.
I thought it would age well... but it's definitely proving me wrong.
THIS CASE GETS DIRTY REALLY REALLY EASILY!!!
And I am a person who tends to get her belongings really dirty really easily.. for no apparent reason... so  I caution you before you purchase it!! I wish someone told me about the kind of material this case is before I purchased it... but there were no reviews on the site... so yeah =_= I think I'll go post one on there soon, just to warn unsuspecting people.... Oh btw the material is like a .... I'm not even sure how to describe it... It's a matte finish and the flowers are sorta bumpy and textured. It's just not glossy and it definitely does not endure scratching very well. Yeah... the best I can do is call it matte... I think :s

 Look at those nasty yellow/orange stains on it!! They won't even come off with soap.. T.T Ugh so gross!

OH! One more thing, this case gets scratched really easily also... the print gets scratched off really easily.
I definitely do not recommend this case ._." Even if your belongings don't get dirty super fast like mine and you want this case because it's just so pretty..... don't. :/ I mean unless you really want to. It's not like I can stop you, lol. It's available here.

Honestly I don't really care for Japanese albums by Kpop groups cuz they're just full of translated songs... but I couldn't pass up the adorable "innocent ver" and the pretty and bold "pop up ver" T_T These have come out for a while now, so I debated quite a bit before purchasing. The She's Back was just cuz it's on Summer clearance for like $7 and I already have the limited edition big package ver. xD
Ooh this is also my first Vixx album ever! They're supposed to be coming here to perform next month.. so I thought I should buy their most recent album >< I'm planning on buying their other albums too... gradually though, gradually.

Oh one last thing! This order took less than 2 weeks to arrive.. comparing that to my first order... there's a big difference +_+ probably because I preordered stuff last time.. but yeah. Free shipping - less than 2 weeks to arrive.. not bad YesAsia.. not bad at all.

Recent Online Purchases - YesStyle Experience

So hello again~ My stuff from YesStyle finally arrived a few days ago, so I'll share what I got today :)
Oh but first, let me regale you with my YesStyle tale. So I ordered these items around the same time I placed my orders on the BornPrettyStore and YesAsia, but this package arrived much later... like a week after my YesAsia stuff arrived.
So what happened was I also ordered a bracelet strap watch, but they couldn't find it in stock anywhere. So more than a week after I placed my order, I got an email from YesStyle saying they may or may not be able to find the watch for me, and it might be cancelled if they can't find it. I received another email about a week later saying that they couldn't find it, and that item on my order would be cancelled. So about another week later, I FINALLY got an email about my order being shipped out... at that point it felt like forever since I placed my order, especially since I wanted the items to arrive in time to wear them for warmer weather. And about 10 days later, I finally received my package. Phew. Geez. :/ The good thing was that the shipping didn't take that long, compared to the little over 3 weeks I waited for my YesAsia stuff. Anyway, onto the items~

 First is this black chiffon maxi skirt. From the pictures on the site, I thought the whole length would be opaque, or at least almost fully opaque, but my eyes were tricked :/ I wanted a maxi skirt with the particular detail of being opaque/almost opaque all the way down, so I ordered this thinking it would be exactly what I wanted, but nope. Turns out there's a shorter skirt, about knee length, under the layers of chiffon. So from the knees down, the skirt is a little sheer. But it's alright, since it does fit my well and it's not too long. I think it hits about an inch or so above my ankles, which is nice cuz it's not too long. I'm about 5"6 for reference.
Oh I almost forgot to mention, this skirt came with a ribbon tie that can go through the belt loops (yes it has belt loops), but I didn't include it in my picture
I purchased this for about $36 I think? But it's not available atm, and the rose one is at regular price, $42.

Secondly I chose this navy blue high-low hem skirt. I decided to get it since it looked longer in length, which I prefer, since it's comfortable. I wanted a longer skirt (but not full on maxi skirt) for lazier summer days. It's a very comfy cottony material. This also hits me at a tiny bit above the knee (the back is longer).
The price when I ordered this was about $28, but now it's back to original price, $35 with no more in stock. I'm not sure if they'll restock, but I'll link the item anyway.

As per buzbeauty's recommendation. I've used it once and I don't think it's made a difference yet... I'm gonna keep trying it out ><

Anyway I'm here to share some stuff I bought online recently, here we go~

  I decided to get these because elleandish on YouTube recommended them. I've been wanting to try holo polishes for a while, and these are reasonably priced unlike the ones at the drug store. Plus BornPrettyStore provides free worldwide shipping, so it's a great deal!

Gold spiked bracelet - $3.59

 I've been eying this bracelet for a while on different online sites and fb shops, but I saw it on the BPS site and decided to get it from there also. It's under $4, so I didn't expect much from the quality, but it's actually quite sturdy (although pretty lightweight). I will say, though, the the gold colour is very cheap looking, but it's not too terrible. I wore it with my silver MK watch recently, and they looked alright together. This bracelet is passable. I think I might get the silver version soon too.

Floral iPhone 5 Case - $5.99 (when I purchased it, it's now $7.99)

 Ive been wanting a new phone case for a while, so I picked this one out while browsing the site. It's so pretty! And it has some glow in the dark patterns. Different, but cool. It's pretty good quality too. I was most concerned about the material being easily stain-able.. like from jeans or something, but so far it seems to be fine.

My order took exactly 2 weeks to arrive. Not bad for free shipping :) I am very happy with my experience with BPS so far.

Hello again blog world! :) I've been collecting a few things from here and there and I finally have time to make a post ^__^!

First off is my new wallet!

Kate Spade New York Cobble Hill Lacey Wallet in deep pink - $119 + 25% discount = $95.20

I bought this off gilt for a discounted price :D Also got a 25% discount... so yup, pretty awesome. I love the stripey pattern inside, it's such an adorable touch. Also pink is my favorite colour, so I don't think I'll ever get sick of this :)
It's too bad Cindy told me that the Kate Spade writing on the front rubs off :( I'll try my hardest to preserve it.. even though I just seem to wear out a lot of the stuff I own a lot quicker than other people.. Sigh.

Went to RC with Cindy a few days ago and picked up this hi-lo navy maxi skirt from Plenty. They're having their spring/summer sale :D I have a feeling they'll lower prices more in a bit, so I'm definitely gonna go back to check a few times in the next few weeks.
Anyway I can't wait to wear this :) Now I still need to find a maxi dress....

Sigh~ These days I've been going a bit crazy with the shopping u__u" I really gotta calm down with the shopping in the next few months.. = = But knowing myself, and how bored I am all the time, I don't think I'll be able to calm down much = = Anyway, I purchased 2 bags within like a week or so? Both from online.
This first one is from Hautelook ^^ It's by a designer named Joseph Charles. Probably not a super mainstream brand name, since I've never heard of him before, but originally, these bags were like, $400 0__0 Which is crazy... I only paid $89 for it :P Gotta love Hautelook!

I've had my eye on it for a while now >.< Every time I walked into a Town Shoes I'd look for it :p But I'd only ever see this bag at Metrotown o.0 Anyway it's by a brand named L.Credi. I tried looking up their website, but it was all in a foreign language I couldn't understand lol. I'm not sure exactly what language, but I'm pretty sure it was a European language. Regardless, I'm loooving these two bags ^o^

I don't think I'd pay full price for it, but it is really adorable and I love it :p I originally saw it at Lougheed, but I found it at Pacific Centre and I just purchased it there :)

Well for the most part, I just really have to break them in and make them comfy = = It's not perfect time of the year for shoes like this.. hahaha.. I still really want a pair of ankle booties or.. like mid-calf booties? Something along those lines.. -sigh- But I'm trying to cut back on spending = = It's so hardddd~~
Speaking of which.. lol... I also ordered a pair of royal blue studded loafers from Aldo.. I wanted to get them, but they didn't have my size.. so I was forced to order them :/ Meh, they won't take long to come in anyway. I'll take pics of them when I get them haha.

 I got these jeggings yesterday! I've been contemplating them for a while.. but since they only had my size in ONE pair, which is this one, I decided just to get 'em.
They're super comfy and since I'm pretty sure I can't fit skinny jeans, this is a good alternative haha c: I love the dark blue wash also~
The tag says $59, but when I got rung up, they came out as $49.99! There's actually a discount on them :D So awesome!!

A few days ago, I went downtown with Susan and Cindy.. and bought these cute bracelets ^^ They were only $2 each!!! I love belt bracelets.. I just think they look so darn cute ^^

I totally went to Lougheed's Walmart to look for it first.. but it was sold out = = Only around $7 at Walmart.. but I ended up going downstairs of the mall to the London Drugs and I bought it there... and I forgot the exact price.. + I threw away the receipt.. but I know I ended up paying more than $8.50 for it.. with tax...
