Recent Purchases ~ Clothes (Leather Jacket & Aritzia Warehouse Sale 2014)

Woo! Long time no clothes post! Well I went to the annual summer Aritzia warehouse sale again and I also finally picked up a very trendy, biker styled-leather jacket so I thought I'd do a post :D

So here we go!

So I found this leather jacket at Marshall's, but it's not real leather (which I don't mind at all). I forsee myself wearing this a lot soon, when the weather gets a bit chillier. So excited! :D

RD Style Pleather Jacket, $29.99, Marshall's
 -----

So next up is the stuff I got from the Aritzia warehouse sale. I've gone every year for... either 3-4 years in a row now, I can't really remember LOL.. I think 4. But this time around, I felt like there was really not many jackets and it wasn't that great. It might be because I went kind of late this year, on the second last day, during mid-afternoon. It might have been better or more interesting if I went earlier, but anyhow here's what I picked up!

La Notte graphic tee, $9.99
I actually wanted this tee earlier this year when I bought my hexagon graphic tee but they didn't have it in my size! Surprisingly I was able to find it at the sale. I've been wanting a couple more comfortable easy t-shirts in my wardrobe so yay!

Next up is another tee:

La Notte graphic tee, $9.99

In addition to the two tees, I also bought 2 new blazers. I can't help it! I just love Aritzia blazers, and you can never find them for such a good price outside the warehouse sales~

Both are double breasted, which I think gives them a very classy touch.

Wilfred Navy Blazer, $49.99

(Brand tag got ripped off) Black blazer, $49.99
Alright that's all for now! I'm always happy with my purchases when I come back from an Aritzia warehouse sale so I thought I'd share. Til next time!

Recent Purchases ~ Clothes (F21, H&M)

Hi :D Just a really quick clothing purchases post.
I haven't been shopping much lately but here's a few things I picked up (damn those sales!!!)

Navy pullover - H&M, $10

Black button up w/ gold studs - H&M, $15

Navy casual dress - H&M, $14.95
This is gonna be so good for those hot summer days~ just slip this on and won't have to worry about anything else~ :p This was original price though, but still a good deal. It's one of H&M's basics.

Navy ankle length skirt - Forever 21, $6.99 (WHAT A STEAL RIGHT?!?!)
I have no idea how or when I'm gonna wear this... but I decided to just buy it anyway because SEVEN DOLLARS ;~; I know. So stupid.

K, that's all for now! Bye!~

Recent Purchases ~ Clothes, Accessories, Shoes & K-Pop!

Hi hi!!~
So here is a compilation of some stuff I've purchased over the past few weeks :3
First off is this dark denim jacket I found at Forever 21. It has black lace detailing on the back, which I thought was really pretty ><

Forever 21 Dark denim jacket w/ black lace detail, $18.99 (sale!)
Here's the back...
and a close up of the lace on the back :P
This jacket is pretty oversized.. so it's definitely not fitted. It's a size M and it's still pretty big on me (especially in the shoulder area) but I think it looks really cute with the sleeves rolled up. I think this will be a really great piece to just throw on when the weather gets a bit warmer.. I'll be able to wear this like I wear blazers as outerwear during the Spring/early Summer/early Fall. I was just browsing through the sale rack at the Forever 21 at Richmond Centre after class last week and stumbled upon this. It's at a really good price point too, so I decided to just pick it up.

Here's the second piece I found on the sale racks at F21 on the same day.

Forever 21 Black sweater w/ silver spike detailing, $22.99 (sale!)
Here's a close up of the spikes :)
This sweater is so badass! xD I've wanted a sweater or cardi like this for a while, and I just decided to purchase this one from F21 since it was on sale and it fit nicely. The large was way too long and big, so I opted for a medium, which fits pretty well, but is still baggy on top - which I like cuz it's comfortable and flattering.

Next up is this necklace I found at H&M :)

H&M rose gold necklace, $12.95
I actually got 10% off this since H&M was doing an offer for 10% for students and teachers with a student ID card. It's really pretty and not too much of a statement, so I decided to pick it up. Sadly, I think necklaces are such a bother to wear most of the time, so I usually don't wear them. This one looks really nice with collared shirts though, so I'll definitely make sure to wear it >_<

Next up are these shoes that I've eyed for a really long time... I always said I would eventually get myself a pair since I just ended up trying them on at PC once a long time ago.

Sam Edelman Felicia in black leather, $125, The Bay
After observing The Bay for a few seasons, I realized that these shoes are like an essential that NEVER go on sale. So I took advantage of this 20% off almost everything coupon that my dad got in the mail for The Bay to buy these :P
Originally they're $125 (I've seen them at Town Shoes for the same price, but again, I've never seen them go on sale), which is way too much in my opinion for these shoes, but I got them for a little over $100. Of course, after tax, they come up to a little below the original price, but any discount is a good one for items like these!
Sadly, though, I thought the coupon was a one-time-use, so I only used it to take these shoes home :( Even though I looked around, I couldn't find anything else that I felt like getting, so I didn't end up getting anything else. It sucks though cuz earlier that weekend, when the coupon was valid, I also roamed around 2 different Bays after class :( I could have gotten even more stuff! -sigh- Oh well. What can I do now besides enjoy these awesome shoes?

BTW, these are the Sam Edelman Felicias in the black (authentic) leather. The sole is also man made, according to The Bay's website.
They're SUPER comfortable, which is why I really wanted to invest in them in the first place, but I have to say I haven't worn them out yet, so I'm not sure about how they really feel. So far I'm really loving them, though, and I'm sure that even if they do give me a bit of discomfort at first, they'll break in nicely and be really comfortable.

Alrighty! Lastly are these two CDs that I received in the mail a while ago.
I said in a previous post that I'd definitely buy the physical copies for these two albums, and I did! :P
Again, I purchased these from YesAsia.

I'm sad that the B.A.P album came in a little damaged on the top right hand corner :( and a little in other places... but oh well. It's not enough for me to go through the trouble of complaining to YesAsia and requesting another one and yada yada.

If you're interested...
B.A.P's First Sensibility available here.
BTOB's Beep Beep available here.

Alrighty! That's all for now. Wow, that's one long post. I haven't really done a long one in a while, but it feels pretty nice that I actually have stuff to blog about.
Ok see you next time! :)

Recent Purchases ~ Aritzia + TNA

Hello!
Just a short post today :)
I picked up two things from Metro today that I thought I'd share.

I got this t-shirt from Aritzia. Just a casual graphic tee. I liked the one with the triangle and the hot pink accent too, but they didn't have my size ><

La Notte graphic tee, $14.99, Aritzia

Secondly... I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS!
Yes! This is the glorious chambray I talked about in my last post :)
I went back a week later, and surprise surprise~ they lowered the price! So I decided to pick it up... even though they would probably lower the price again after another week or something.. but whatever. This ended up being half price from the original full price of $95. (I KNOW, freaking 95 for a freaking button up.... I mean I'm not that happy to have paid ~50 for it either.. but 95... like a hundred bucks for a freaking button up... you gotta be kidding me)

TNA dark wash chambray, $47.50, TNA
Although I have to give it to them... these fit really well. Oh btw this is the boyfriend fit.
Sadly... the black cardigan that I bought last week was also discounted... from $39.99 down to $34.99... I should have waited for that one T_T But sigh. What can I do? They're final sale.. and it's only 5 bucks...
Unlike this freaking chambray. The girl working there last week (same girl was there today too but didn't recognize me.. lol) was trying to push so hard for me to buy this chambray for $65. Luckily I waited to get it. I would've felt really pathetic if she actually convinced me to buy it for $65 lol.

Anyway that's all~ I really have to stop shopping, lol. ;~; It's like a disease!
Alrighty, until next time~ bye!

Recent Purchases ~ Clothes

Hello again! I just have some recent clothing purchases that I wanted to share ^^

First is this adorable holiday cardigan~ I actually saw+tried this on at the same time I bought my black cardi from F21, but didn't wanna spend so much money on a seasonal cardi... but I liked it so much I decided to go back and get it. Too bad, cuz I won't be able to wear this til next year.... lol maybe I can still pull this off in January? :P We'll see~

Grey Christmas cardigan, $33.80, Forever 21
Next is this military inspired button down. I found this baby at Aritzia, since they're having a pretty big sale throughout the whole store right now. I need more button downs to wear with my new favorite black cardi from F21 that I shared a few posts ago :P Sadly, this army green one doesn't look that good with the black cardi... but I still like it.

TNA Military button down, $29.99, Aritzia
Lastly is this blazer vest I found at Urban Outfitters. I've been wanting something like this, and I found it for only $9.99! So even though it's not exactly what I'd like, I settled for it... after all, it was ONLY $10!

Silence + Noise Black blazer vest, $9.99, Urban Outfitters
That's all I have to share this time~ See ya!

Recent Purchases ~ Clothes, Accessories and Nail Polish/Care/Decor

Hello again! Finally I am back with a recent purchases (irl) post :P
So here's all the stuff I've bought over the last... few weeks(?) that I want to share :)

First off is this blazer jacket I got from Winners!

Carmen dark purple blazer jacket - $49.99, Winners
 Here's a close up + a better look at the colour~

Maybe cuz I was so depressed about not being able to find that purple/maroon blazer from the Aritzia warehouse sale... but I immediately gravitated to this blazer when I first saw it. There was also a deep red one and a dark green one, but I opted for this colour :)

Next off is this dress~
Black hi-low midi/maxi dress - $32.50, but I paid $19.5 + tax (40% off), Costa Blanca
There's such a funny story behind this dress... lol. I guess I should share it then xD... even though I am feeling a little lazy with the typing and what not.. but oh well. So in the beginning of the summer, I saw a navy version of this same dress in the store, and it also came in a burnt orange colour. I tried on the navy one and I really loved it because it's such a pretty and unique length, but I didn't feel like paying for it at the time (I feel like it was under 30 when I first saw it... maybe they raised the price? not sure...) so I thought I would try and wait for it to go on sale. School got busier so I didn't have time to visit the mall, but when I did, I remembered that dress so I went hunting for it, but they sold out of them pretty fast. When I eventually did go back to purchase it, they were all gone... so I was pretty sad since I wanted this type of dress for the summer. So I went into the store a few weeks ago and I saw this dress! This time they had it in black, a dark green and maybe another colour, I can't really remember. So I grabbed it, tried it on and purchased it. At the same time, I decided to get the SPC card from there so I could get 10% off the dress. I was super happy just to be able to get my hands on it!
Flash forward a few days - I check my email and Costa Blanca has a coupon for 40% off all of their full priced items. I was so mad!! So on that weekend, I went back to Costa Blanca, explained to the person working there at the counter ringing items up that I purchased the dress a few days earlier, and that I wanted to return it and use the 40% email coupon. She was really nice about it and said yes.. but even funnier she said "I think people have been doing that all day... but you're the first one to say it outright like that". I replied saying "isn't it better to be honest? Who likes spending more money than they have to? :P" She agreed, lol. Anyway I ended up getting this dress for ~$20 instead of ~$35. It felt awesome, lol.

Alrighty, that was a long ass story, lol. Onto the next items~ Accessories!

I got a few things from Aldo Accessories... cuz I'm crazy for those Infinity signs.. haha.. but only on dainty looking pieces x)

Infinity necklace - $8, Aldo Accessories
Also got these midi rings! I love how they look, but I really don't have many other rings that match with them... so I don't know how I'm gonna wear them >< But I WILL! Or else it'll be such a waste of money!! >__<
Gold midi rings - $8 (for both), Aldo Accessories
Next are these cute BCBG bracelets I found on discount at the Bay!

BCBG DREAM bracelet - $12.60, TRUE<3 bracelet - $7.20, the Bay
Yeah I dunno what's up with the price discrepancy between the two... but whatever. They're so cute! I don't have any other rose gold jewelry though.. so I'm not sure how to match these with other jewelry.. but I'll figure it out :P (btw I bought them at separate times.. the bottom 2 pictures have better lighting, so I decided to include them in too xD)

Alrighty, clothes + accessories, CHECK~
Onto nail stuff!

Nail rhinestones - $5/box
I picked up these nail rhinestones at a random store in Chinatown, since the price was decent. I dunno how often I'm gonna use these... I haven't even been painting my nails these days, but it seems my nail purchases are at their highest right now... lol.. I really need to stop buying so much of this stuff =_= It's such a bad addiction!

*Sigh*.... speaking of which... lol... I picked up these 6 nail polishes from Superstore.

Essie over the edge, merino cool, chinchilly, vested interest, where's my chauffeur and go ginza - $7.97 each, Superstore
I picked up a bottle of Seche Vite fast dry top coat and a bottle of OPI Nail Envy from Winners, on different days. I stopped using Seche Vite top coat because I thought it was way too expensive... but I realized it's about the same price as the Sally Hansen fast dry top coat... if I get the Seche Vite from Winners, lol. Honestly I feel that the Seche Vite is a better quality top coat. It doesn't bubble as much as the S.H one... for a person who loves layers and layers of top coat, I think the Seche Vite is a better product.
I've used the Nail Envy once, and it really does help harden your nails! I was too lazy to consistently apply it, but I felt its power with just one use!

Seche Vite fast dry top coat - $7.99 & OPI Nail Envy - $9.99, both from Winners
Next are these Milani jewel polishes~

Milani Silver & Gems - $4.99 each, Superstore
And FINALLY! Today I purchased these Covergirl outlast stay brilliant polishes from Superstore. They were on sale for under $5, and the limit was 4. PLUS it was no tax day, so I picked these four up!

Covergirl outlast stay brilliant nail poishes - 260 always autumn, 235 bronze beauty, 230 golden opportunity and 320 midnight magic
It's my first time picking up this brand/line of polishes, so I'm hoping they're good! Midnight Magic is sooo beautiful, but I couldn't capture it well >< I definitely need to reserve my next polish purchases to unique colours like this so I don't get multiples of different colours... only from different brands =_=

Anyway PHEW! That was a long post. That's it for now, cya later! :)

Recent Online Purchases - YesStyle Experience

So hello again~ My stuff from YesStyle finally arrived a few days ago, so I'll share what I got today :)
Oh but first, let me regale you with my YesStyle tale. So I ordered these items around the same time I placed my orders on the BornPrettyStore and YesAsia, but this package arrived much later... like a week after my YesAsia stuff arrived.
So what happened was I also ordered a bracelet strap watch, but they couldn't find it in stock anywhere. So more than a week after I placed my order, I got an email from YesStyle saying they may or may not be able to find the watch for me, and it might be cancelled if they can't find it. I received another email about a week later saying that they couldn't find it, and that item on my order would be cancelled. So about another week later, I FINALLY got an email about my order being shipped out... at that point it felt like forever since I placed my order, especially since I wanted the items to arrive in time to wear them for warmer weather. And about 10 days later, I finally received my package. Phew. Geez. :/ The good thing was that the shipping didn't take that long, compared to the little over 3 weeks I waited for my YesAsia stuff. Anyway, onto the items~

First is this black chiffon maxi skirt. From the pictures on the site, I thought the whole length would be opaque, or at least almost fully opaque, but my eyes were tricked :/ I wanted a maxi skirt with the particular detail of being opaque/almost opaque all the way down, so I ordered this thinking it would be exactly what I wanted, but nope. Turns out there's a shorter skirt, about knee length, under the layers of chiffon. So from the knees down, the skirt is a little sheer. But it's alright, since it does fit my well and it's not too long. I think it hits about an inch or so above my ankles, which is nice cuz it's not too long. I'm about 5"6 for reference.
Oh I almost forgot to mention, this skirt came with a ribbon tie that can go through the belt loops (yes it has belt loops), but I didn't include it in my picture
I purchased this for about $36 I think? But it's not available atm, and the rose one is at regular price, $42.
lovemark tie-waist chiffon maxi skirt -  here

Secondly I chose this navy blue high-low hem skirt. I decided to get it since it looked longer in length, which I prefer, since it's comfortable. I wanted a longer skirt (but not full on maxi skirt) for lazier summer days. It's a very comfy cottony material. This also hits me at a tiny bit above the knee (the back is longer).
The price when I ordered this was about $28, but now it's back to original price, $35 with no more in stock. I'm not sure if they'll restock, but I'll link the item anyway.
Maymaylu Dream elastic waist skirt - here

Lastly I purchased this hair mask:

As per buzbeauty's recommendation. I've used it once and I don't think it's made a difference yet... I'm gonna keep trying it out ><

Short post, but that's all for now :) Cya next time~

Recent Purchases ~ Clothes - End of the semester shopping therapy.. :P

Hello again!! I have some clothing purchases this time :)

Every since Plenty started having their seasonal sale, I've been eying SO many pieces from there! Needless to say, I've visited the store an idiotic amount of times.. lol.... I just keep buying the stuff from there! Especially since it's on sale >< I've never bought anything from there for full price... cuz it's ridiculous lol. Just sayin'~ if there's a sale, I'm definitely gonna take advantage of it :p

Propoganda floral print sheer top, $31
On the same day, I bought the same top in a different print... xD

Propoganda floral print sheer top, Plenty, $31
Can't wait to wear these for fall!! The prints are so cute :) I don't have many printed pieces in my closet so I'm glad I bought these ^^

More recently, I made another visit there.. since their additional 25% off sale started.. =_=

Propoganda polka dot beige sheer top, Plenty, $23.25
There was an extra 25% off from the $31 sale price.. YES I bought the same top in a different print again! I love the cut of this top xD It's so flattering on me, I couldn't help but buy three.... god I swear I'm not crazy :s

PGD dark gray pullover, Plenty, $19.50
Last thing I got from Plen+y.. for now LOL. I tried this pullover a bunch of times, but finally decided to get it. Just a comfy staple for cooler/colder weather :)

After raiding Plen+y, I headed over to Zara and found this top!

Zara dark gray light weight 3/4 sleeve top, $11.99
I fell in love when I tried this on.. it's just SO COMFY! I can definitely wear it now, on the cooler summer days :D

Phew~ Alright that's all for now! I'll probably be back after I'm finished my last final on Tuesday. Until then, take care ^^

Nails ~ Lavender Glitter Explosion! + A few recent purcahses

Heyo! Quick update :)

I purchased this light purple polish w/ glitters the other day at Walmart and I decided to paint my nails with it xD

Here are the 2 polishes I got from Walmart.

Essie Mint Candy Apple, $7.96 & Hard Candy pixie pink, $3.98, Walmart
Even though it's called pixie pink, I really think it's more of a light purple/lavender colour...
And I finally picked up Mint Candy Apple! Walmart recently rolled back their price on Essie so I decided to get it. I wanted to get Cute as a Button too... but maybe next time.

Here's my nails~
Sorry for the bottom pic, I know it looks weird lol. It was so hard to take the picture with my left hand when the button is on the left side of my heavy ass camera.... at least I got a decent shot!

And here's a close, close-up xD

I used Essie To Buy or Not to Buy (on ring finer + loose purple glitter) & Hard Candy's pixie pink... and the usual base+top coat.

Ooooh this reminds me, I took some pix while browsing at Walmart.
Here's the Hard Candy polish display... I want ALL OF THEM T___T

Here's some close ups of the different polishes...

They're ALL soooo pretty.. Why can't I have them all T_T

I guess pixie pink does look pretty pink here... but Iunno, on my nails, it still looks purple.. =_= I want that other pink one too.. cotton candy pink.. maybe I'll get it next time. Pink taffy is cute too! I might pick it up next time.. sigh whatever >.<

I really wanted this one, hip hip hooray

I narrowed my choices down to this one & pixie pink, but chose the pixie pink one cuz I dunno how often I'm gonna use this one :c It's SOOOO glittery and that's a guaranteed hard-to-remove polish T_T

Anyway~

I also picked up this pair of shorts (they're actually navy...) from H&M. On sale! Only $7 :D
Yes I have a problem. I srsly need to stop buying so many navy clothing items =___=" This'll be cute with leggings tho, and the weather these days has been perfect for leggings... It's not super hot, not super cold.. sometimes it'll be raining. Meh. Van weather...

That's all for now! Phew. It's a lot longer than I intended, lol. See you next time!
